Discussion Standards
- Discuss facts, law, and policy. Address the subject rather than attacking another person’s race, character, religion, sex, or background.
- Support factual claims. Link to a court opinion, statute, government document, or other reliable source when possible.
- Distinguish allegations from findings. Do not present an accusation, investigation, or pending lawsuit as a proven fact.
- No threats or advocacy of violence. Threatening, intimidating, or unlawful content will not be published.
- No racial hostility or slurs. Criticism of race-based laws and policies is welcome. Degrading people because of race is not.
- Protect privacy. Do not publish private addresses, telephone numbers, financial information, medical information, or other personal data.
- No spam or commercial promotion. Repetitive comments, unrelated links, advertising, and impersonation are prohibited.
- No personal legal advice. The website provides educational information, not legal representation or individualized legal advice.
Moderation
